These socks are super simple and fun at the same time. This is an ideal pattern as an introduction to 2 stitch cables and twisted stitches. The socks are knit cuff-down and feature a contrast short row heel and contrast toe. This pattern is perfect for self striping and variegated yarns alike, as it’s simple enough that the business of the yarn will not detract from the pattern itself. The pattern on the socks is mirrored so there is in fact a left and a right sock, and as always, my patterns are always fully charted and written out.

Size: S, (M, L) (length is easily adjusted)
Materials:
Yarn: Shown – Biscotte Bis-Sock in the Hudson S Memories colorway; Knit Picks Stroll in White for heel/toe.
Recommended- 60-70 grams of MC and 15 grams of CC of any fingering weight sock yarn.
(I used 54 grams of MC and 11 grams of CC for the medium size)
Needles: 2.5 mm (or size needed to obtain gauge) needles of choice (9” circs, long circ for magic loop or DPN’s)
Notions: cable needle, darning needle for kitchener stitch and weaving in ends
Gauge: 10 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch
