SKEINO’s Denali Shawl is named in honor of the Denali National Park in Alaska. The Shawl is knitted from two very different weight yarns using the same needle size.

One skein Sock Yarn and one skein Super Bulky Merino Flame yarn are used for this easy to knit triangular shawl. One row alone brings the puffiness from the Flame yarn to full effect. The two rows from the Sock yarn adding the laciness helps to make this shawl lightweight and cozy.

For the three-row yarn repeat you will need to slide the circular needle to the side where the yarn is, to avoid cutting the yarn. This also creates the unique striping of the mostly knitted rows to create a different Garter Stitch.

This is a great beginners piece and provides the opportunity to learn how to increase and how to knit front or back rows again to avoid ends.
