The shawl as shown here is the smaller version, you do however have the option to make your beautiful Depths of the ocean shawl a bit deeper. The pattern will guide you, you just need one more Delicate skein.

The lace pattern gets knitted sideways and is easier to knit then one may think. You’ll actually quickly memorize the pattern.

The pattern is fully written and also offers a lace chart.
The shawl as shown is 63” in length and 13” in height, the bigger version is 21” in height.

Yarn used here
A skein of Delicate for the smaller version as shown here. Each skein is arranged to order with 3 individual colors and strands creating a sport weight yarn that is light weight and great depth in each color way.

Notions needed
US size 15 (10 mm) circular needle 29” (74 cm) in length.
Tapestry needle for finishing.

Gauge
12 sts and 10 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied
Knitting, purling, lace knitting, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends and blocking for best results.
