Deriva is a great introduction to colorwork, using simple repeats that create an overall arrow design. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and great for several seasons of the year.

Materials Needed:

2 skeins of fingering weight yarn in contrasting colors. (appx 230 yards for color A, and 80 yards for color B)

Sample used:
Color A: Autumn and Indigo Single Sock Wolfgang
Color B: Autumn and Indigo Single Sock Hudson

Needles:
-16” US 2 / 2.75mm circular needles
-16” US 3 / 3.25mm circular needles
US 3 / 3.25 DPNs for crown shaping
