This template is a free coloring page & pattern to accompany the YouTube tutorial from Diana Levine Knits:

This pattern is knit on a 48 needle Sentro knitting machine, but it would work on any hat-sized circular knitting machine.

To use this template, I offer my children a wide variety of crayons and markers and they color the stripes however they’d like their hat. Then, I use their design to knit their hats on my Sentro 48 needle knitting machine. I designed the template to be kid-friendly: however, this pattern and template can be used by all ages! This is a quick and easy project for kids because they love to choose their own colors, and then see their hats coming to life as they are knit!
