A timeless design of raised diamonds makes this a cowl for both men and women. Using Debbie Bliss Lhasa, a cashmere blend, and size 10 needles, this cowl knits up quickly. One skein makes a simple cowl or use two for a deeper cylinder.

Skill Level:
Beginning. Knit and purl in the round.

Yarn:
Approximately 218 yards 200 meters Aran weight yarn for tall or 109 yards 100 meters Aran weight yarn for short cowl.

Cover sample shown using: 2 skeins Debbie Bliss Lhasa (50% Cashmere, Goat, 50% Yak; 109 yards 100 meters per 50 g) in Teal.

Needles:
US 10 6 mm 16 or 24 inch circular.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Gauge:
15 stitches by 28 Rnds = 4” 10 cm in stockinette stitch after blocking. The pattern uses almost all of one or two skeins; variation from gauge may affect yardage.

Size:
24 in 58.5 cm circumference. Height: 11 in 28 cm for tall or 5 ½ in 14 cm for short cowl. Circumference may be adjusted by casting on additional stitches in multiples of 8.
