This drawstring crossbody bag features an embossed look diamond design. It is crocheted with two colors of sturdy mercerized cotton yarn. The stitches used in this project are chain, double crochet, half double crochet, single crochet and slip stitch. The yarn used for this project is Omega Sinfonia available at www.creativeyarnsource.com. Some colors are also available at Hobby Lobby stores. Directions are given for lining the bag and reinforcing the bottom of the bag. This is an intermediate project.

Finished Measurements: 9 ½“ high, 9 ½” wide. The base is 8” wide and 3” deep. The strap is 46” long.

Omega Sinfonia, sport weight, mercerized cotton yarn, (3.5 oz/218 yds/100 g per skein):
1 skein #807 khaki, 1 skein #816 teal
Size F/5/3.75mm crochet hook
Size G/6/4mm crochet hook

The pattern was updated on April 29, 2020. There was an error in the stitch count at the end of round 6 of the base. The original version said 86 stitches but it should say 88.
