About the Knitting Pattern
The Diamond Hearts Dresses are designed for children from birth to 5 years old. Featuring a pretty heart and diamond motif across the skirt and moss stitch edges, this pattern includes two versions — short sleeved and sleeveless — making it suitable for all seasons. The pattern is written in English and supplied as an instant digital download PDF.

Design Details
The front and back pieces are knitted separately and sewn together. The moss stitch neckband is added by picking up stitches. You can choose between short sleeves, which are knitted separately and sewn on, or a sleeveless version with a moss stitch armhole edge band.

Sizes
Includes five sizes to fit:
• 0–6 months
• 6–12 months
• 1–2 years
• 2–3 years
• 4–5 years

Skill Level
Intermediate. Written instructions are provided, along with a chart for the diamond hearts pattern, if preferred.

Yarn
Knitted using double knitting (DK) wool. Alternative yarns: USA light worsted or Australian 8 ply. Dresses shown are knitted using:
• Short Sleeved Dress (0–6 months) in Sirdar Snuggly DK shade Meadow (0525)
• Sleeveless Dress (1–2 years) in Sirdar Snuggly DK shade Precious (0187)

Needles
3.25 mm and 4.0 mm (USA 3 and 6) straight needles.
