This knitting pattern has the instructions you need to make your own Diamond Lace Scarf. The scarf features a Shetland Lace (style) pattern combination on a garter stitch base. The pattern is symmetrical (no obvious up and down) and fully reversible.

The pattern specifies a lace-weight yarn, but you can use any weight to make this scarf. The heavier the yarn you use the larger your scarf will be and the more yarn you will need.

The pattern includes both written instructions and a knitting chart.

Materials you will need: Lace weight yarn (2 – 3 ply) 50 – 60 grams  1 pair 4.00 mm knitting needles  1 darning needle to weave in tails  Blocking pads and pins

Finished Size using Lace Weight Yarn:This will vary depending on the yarn you use and the needles you select, but my finished scarf is 27 centimetres wide by 210 centimetres long.
