I’ve seen so many adorable patterns for crochet baskets, and I just had to design one using one of my favorite new stitches: the Diamond stitch. This basket would look great in your craft room, your bathroom, or in your kitchen!

The Diamonds Basket is worked in the round and joined at the end of each round. The diamond stitch uses a fptr2tog, but the pattern includes a photo tutorial and a video link for extra help completing that stitch.

Because this basket is worked holding 2 strands together, it has a fair amount of stiffness. However, you can always spray it with stiffening spray or starch, or you can spray it with water and put a coffee can inside of it so that it dries in the correct shape.
