Everyone needs a soft, textured scarf or wrap to keep off the chill indoors when you are snuggled in your favorite chair reading or knitting, or outdoors with the wind blowing all around you. These easy, yet elegant pieces can be knit up quickly in a soft cotton, wool blend yarn for just such occasions.

Knit them for yourself or as a comfort shawl for someone else. The alternating garter and ribbing sections, edged with a feminine ruffle, are easy enough for a beginner yet interesting enough for a more advanced knitter.

It would also make a lovely baby blanket or a large throw. Tips for changing the size are included in the pattern.
