This pattern is also available as part of the Poseidon’s Realm, Part Two pattern collection.

Dictynna is a split square shawl that works up incredibly fast in super bulky yarn. Available in two sizes: a small single skein and a larger two-skein version. You may remember Britomartis, the virgin huntress from my collection titled: Poseidon’s Realm, Part One. Artemis rewarded her for her virtue by granting her immortality as Dictynna, goddess of the nets.

This shawl is worked from the top down, beginning with a garter tab. Both written and charted instructions are included. It is easy to change the size and yarn weight on this shawl. You can work as many repeats of the Main Body as you want. Refer to the following guide for using different yarn weights/needles:

Lace - US 5-6 (3.75-4mm)
Sock/Fingering - US 6-7 (4-4.5mm)
Sport - US 7-9 (4-5.5mm)
DK - US 9 -10 (5.5-6mm)
Worsted - US 10.5-11 (6.5-8mm)
Bulky - US 13-15 (9-10mm)

See this blog post for tips on working with super bulky yarns, including where to find needles and other notions.
