This pattern includes a section that will guide you to getting the PERFECT FIT when crocheting garments. The guide will walk you step-by-step on what to do to modify the Dimensions Sweater and any other crochet or knit garment that is a circular yoke, worked from the top down.

  • LEVEL: Intermediate - Advanced (see techniques below)

  • SIZING: Finished bust of 27.75” - 71.75”. Sizes are written as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 (6, 7, 8, 9) 10, 11, 12, 135, 16, 17, 18, 19) 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26. They are color coded in the pattern, making it easier to follow along with the size you are making.

The Dimensions Sweater is made to fit how you want it to!

To determine what size to make, I recommend taking the measurements for your bust, upper arm, and yoke depth (from neckline to under arm). More information on how to use these measurements to determine you size are within the pattern.

The body and sleeves have instructions within the pattern to customize the fit/ease to your preferences.

  • YARN: Light Fingering / Fingering Weight Yardages are calculated for a long sleeve, top of hip length sweater. Adjusting the length of the body or sleeves will change the amount of yarn needed. Yardage / meterage calculations are approximate.

  • GAUGE: Ribbing: 6 sts x 14 rows = 0.5” x 2” With 2.5 mm hook, Blp SC worked flat gauge measured after blocking

Check your gauge for the colorwork! I used the same hook size throughout the pattern, but many tend to crochet tighter when doing colorwork. You may need to use a different hook for the colorwork versus the rest of your sweater.

  • SUPPLIES: 3.50 mm and 2.50 mm hook or size to meet gauge, tapestry needle, scissors, measuring tape

  • TECHNIQUES: stranded crochet colorwork, circular yoke construction, working in the round, reading a color chart (written instructions are not included, except for on increase rows)

For the colorwork, I recommend using the stranded color work technique, resulting in floats on the inside of your sweater. You can choose another method for the colorwork, but they have not been tested, may result in a denser fabric, and use more yarn.

Please note that sizes 1, 8, 12 and 16 - 26 have not been tested but have been graded and edited using notes from the other sizes. If you find any errors or have any questions, please let me know.
