…………………………………………………………………………………………

This simple old-fashioned puppet is knit in the round with an eyelash yarn and a wool yarn held together. She is then felted in a washing machine, with her eyes installed and her nose embroidered post-felting. A quick project, Dog Puppet makes a wonderful gift for a child!

Materials Required:

1 skein Ice Yarns Andrea Viscose; Color: Camel; 200 yds
2 skeins Knit Picks Wool of the Andes Worsted; Color: Camel Heather; 215 yds

Notions: Fiberfill, Scissors, tapestry needle, stitch markers, embroidery floss (optional- may be used for the embroidery instead of yarn), 16 mm safety eyes

A note about yarn substitutions: Instead of the 2 yarns called for in the pattern, you can substitute either of the following:

1 strand of worsted weight wool yarn (215 yds) with 1 strand Ice Yarns Eyelash (200 yds)

2 strands worsted weight wool yarn (415 yds)
