This doll’s coat (if it is short, then jacket) is crocheted from soft mixed (wool + acrylic) or acrylic yarn. The body is made from the bottom up, the sleeves are crocheted separately and attached during the work. Textured yarn or mohair is recommended for fur trim.
The jacket has a “hook and eye” closure at the center of the front.

The pattern consists of 15 pages, including more than 20 step-by-step photos and diagram of the pattern.

Materials:

  • wool + acrylic mixed yarn (50g/ 150m) - light blue, about 40g
  • crochet hook 4 mm
  • stretch thread (rib)
  • textured “fur” yarn or mohair, small amount
  • circle knitting needles for fur trim (optional)
  • hook and eye - 3 pairs

The jacket is made for a 13” doll.

Don’t be upset if your doll has other sizes or your yarn differs from mine. My pattern describes how you can measure your doll (it’s very easy!) and change the stitches to fit your doll and your yarn.
In addition, you can get my help on adapting my pattern to your doll size and your yarn.

Measurements of the finished jacket:

  • sleeve length from the collar - 10 cm (3.9 inch)

Density of crocheting: 10x10 cm (4”x4”) - 16 rounds x 22.5 sts
