A timeless and classic striped shawl with a twist. You can knit this project using two colours as suggested or you can mix and match yarn from your stash. I bought the yarn in 2016 at ‘Art of Yarn’ in Kelowna, BC, when I was on a business trip, but didn’t know what to knit with this until now. I think the design works beautifully.

The shawl is worked from a few cast-on stitches on one end and expands on the other end using increases and decreases. You can make it as long or as short as you like. It is knitted with 100% silk so it is perfect to be worn all year round. It is an easy and fun project to knit with a bit of texture throughout. You can knit it with any yarn that you have. The gauge is not that critical. I used up almost all of my two cones. The photo inserted at the end is with my leftover yarn.
