The vintage style blanket knits up quickly as you don’t have to knit long row by long row of stitches. The blanket can be knit as a throw; all you have to do is knit up more pieces in your preferred colour.

There are both written and charted instructions in the pattern and a diagram to help you assemble the pieces (pieces are sewn together using mattress stitch).

Note: The octagons are knit in the round using 5 Double Pointed Needles (DPNs). Circular needles may be used if the knitter is comfortable with magic loop but instructions provided in the pattern are for DPNs.
