Simple but fascinating construction, and a beautiful use of hand-dyed yarns: these pieces are as easy to knit as they are appealing to look at. All you do is pick a dark and a light colourway. Starting with a corrugated rib cuff, you work up the sleeve in a slipped stitch pattern to do one half of the yoke (back and fronts at once, each having neck shaping). Then you make another reversing all shaping, and sew them together down the back. Finally you pick up around the armholes and knit the body in one piece downwards to the hem. Arresting and fun.

Sized to fit kids age 2 - XL adult.
