I am dreaming of going places…
I dream we are all safe and well, and reuniting again.
These socks, in these sweet colors and stripes make me dream of Paris, and its elegance… Make me think of lace and bonbons.

They are knit from the cuff down, with a heel flap, using 2 colors of sock weight yarn. The cuff is adorned with a delicate lace pattern, and the body of the socks is worked in simple and thin stripes.

SIZES
Two sizes: Small (Large).
The smallest are written for 60 sts and the largest for 72 sts. They will fit a foot circumference of 8 (9)“ / 20 (22.5) cm. You can modify the size slightly by using a smaller or a larger needle and/or yarn.

MATERIALS
Yarn: You will need fingering (sock) weight yarn in 2 different colors. The yardage required of each color is approx. 180 (200) yards 165 (182) m in each color.
I used: 2 skeins of Base 1. 4ply Superwash BFL by Mahoodly 100% BFL wool; 440y (400m) /100g. Color 1 (black): Mrs. Thornton. Color 2 (pink): Mina Murray.
Needles: US 1 (2.25mm) dpns or long circular needles for magic loop.
Note that you will need to rearrange your stitches over your needles on some rounds when working the lace section.
Other notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle.

GAUGE
