Nothing beats watching your favorite sports team score the winning points in the game - except when you’re cheering them on wearing a handmade game day beanie you crocheted yourself!

The Driftwood Spirit Beanie pattern is perfect for all your game day needs as the 3 color block stripes are made for showing off your favorite team’s colors. It is crocheted top down using the crumped griddle stitch, which gives the beanie a wonderful subtle texture using only single and double crochet stitches (and also makes it beginner friendly!). With 3 styles to choose from (messy bun, fitted, or slouchy) and 5 sizes (Baby through Adult Large), this pattern is perfect for crocheting game day team spirit attire for your entire family.

This pattern is written in ENGLISH using US terminology and has been tested by others. Pattern includes detailed instructions for how to make a seamless color change when working in turned rounds (also found here on the blog).

The fitted style beanie is available for free to view on my blog in all 5 sizes (https://www.fromnicolescreations.com - available after September 19th) along with a companion video. However, the paid PDF is ad-free, downloadable, printable, and includes messy bun and slouchy versions of the beanie in all 5 sizes as well.

• Yarn: #4 worsted weight yarn in 3 colors (Want to use the yarn I used? Check out Swish Worsted from WeCrochet!)
• Hook: I/5.5mm hook + H/5.0mm hook (optional - for the last round only)

• Toddler (fits heads 17-19” in circumference)
• Child (fits heads 19-20” in circumference)
• Teen/Adult Small (fits heads 20-22” in circumference)
