This is a very elegant lacy shell scarf which is very easy to make and quick. All you have to do is repeat 2 stitches. A lot of beginners have mentioned how easy it is. It’s not complicated at all. All you do is alternate between a Shell and 1 single HTC. That simple. It’s harder to see the shells when you have a large stitch.

Stitches Used:
HTR (Half Triple Crochet)
Wrap yarn twice around needle, YO and pull through, YO pull through 2 loops, YO and pull through all 3 remaining loops.

HTR Shell= 2 htr, chain 2, 2 htr in next stitch

The Blue Scarf:
Hook Size: I
Finished Size: 7 inches wide x 51 inches long
Yarn: Bernat Berella “4” Worsted Weight
Gauge: 3 ¾ sts per inch
Chain: 26 or a multiple of 6

Multi Colored Scarf
Change yarns every 8 rows
