This beginner-friendly hat knits up fast, looks good on everyone, and is great for using up yarn left over from other projects. The instructions include separate directions for working flat or in the round, whichever you prefer.

While the hat was designed with guys in mind, it works for ladies, too!

Difficulty: Beginner. Using just knit and purl stitches, this hat is great for beginners and a super-quick knit for someone with more experience.

Sizes:
Small: Finished circumference 19”/ 48 cm fits adults with head circumference up to 22”/55 cm
Large: Finished circumference 21.5”/ 54 cm fits adults with head circumference up to 24.5”/ 62 cm

Yarn selection: You only need about 75 yards per color with the two-color stripe as designed, but the pattern could be easily modified to include more colors or be worked as a solid. This pattern is great for making a hat with school or team colors!
