This easy, fringed poncho works up fast with worsted weight (size 4) yarn and a Size N – 9mm crochet hook. The large hook and thick yarn make this a weekend project that you will want to wear every weekend! The poncho is crocheted in two large rectangles that are sewn together. The poncho is edged with single crochet and double crochet and the 6-inch fringe tassels are simply knotted along the edges. The yarn used in this project is Bernat Pop! or Yarn Bee Soft and Sleek. These yarns are toward the thicker end of the worsted range. Using a thinner worsted weight yarn will not give you the correct gauge.

Measurements: 30” from center of neck to bottom point; 24” from side neck edge to side bottom edge.

Materials:
Worsted Weight (size 4) yarn – 3 Skeins Bernat Pop! (Foggy Notion) or 4 skeins Yarn Bee Soft and Sleek (Linen)
Crochet Hook: Size N – 9mm
Yarn needle for weaving in ends
