I started designing this crop top on a really cold day, as strange as that sounds I wanted something to look forward to for summer! It’s a super simple pattern that is nice and beginner friendly! All you need to know how to do is knit and purl and a basic increase and decrease stitch. The crop top is knitted with 3 strands of DK held together so it knits up very quickly! If you use cotton it should be nice and lightweight for summer! I made my first one in acrylic and that also worked really nicely. The crop has a negative ease so should be nice and tight on the bust. The pattern is written for sizes 30 inch up to 60.

Yardages:
This pattern is a stash buster! So after testing the pattern and getting wildly different yardages for the same size because the pattern is super customizable with body and strap lengths, it’s been really tricky to get an accurate yardage! Therefore I’m recommending between 300-1000m of DK yarn with 3 strands held together.

Materials:
7mm circular needles with a short cable
DK yarn
Double pointed needles (anything that has 2 ends, you could use a cable needle)
Large darning needle
