Inspired by the traditional Icelandic Lopapeysur of Reykjavík and the most versatile and inspirational food stuff in the world, Egg is the perfect sweater for any person with an obsession with eggs, be they real or made of yarn..

Part of a 2 sweater set, available for purchase individually or as an ebook, this fitted and cropped sweater is exactly what you’ve been looking to round out your fall/winter closet. Egg is a uniquely fitted yet still ridiculously cozy sweater which is knit with a twist on the traditional bottom-up, yoked construction.

Both sweaters, Egg and Avocado utilize the same iconic yoke design and therefore can both be worked with your choice of either eggs or avocados (or both!). The distinction between the two sweaters is in the fit. Egg is a very fitted negative ease sweater with a bracelet length sleeve, a lot of waist shaping and a cropped length. Avocado is a more classic yoked sweater which is knit with a few inches of positive ease, no shaping and longer sleeves and body.

You can purchase for download each sweater individually or you can purchase the set as an ebook.

About Egg.

Egg is not your average Lopapeysa, with the simple geometric shapes of the yoke lending themselves to being either eggs or avocados, this fitted, curve hugging sweater is the fraternal twin of Avocado, the more relaxed, unisex edition of this yoked sweater.

With a yoke utilizing traditional Icelandic shaping, and modelled after the iconic, geometric imagery of the lowly yet ubiquitous egg, Egg is the perfect sweater to cast on in the summer and have ready for the coming fall.

Egg will keep you warm while also satisfying your deepest foodie cravings. It is modelled in the 2nd size, 34” with an inch of negative ease, it is recommended to work this pattern with 0-2 inches of negative ease for a flattering, über-fitted look.
