This hat is worked from bottom to top. After a short section of 1x1 rib, the texture stitch is worked over the body of the hat, ending with the decrease section.

Yarn
Approximately 100g of Katia Merino Aran (155m / 169yds per ball of 100g); color used: 69 (ruby red)

Needles and notions
-4.0mm and 5.0mmcircular needles (40cm / 16in) (or you preferred type for working hat circumference)
-5.0mm dpns for decrease section.
-1 stitch marker (7 extra markers to separate the repeats in section 3 “shape crown”)
-Scissors
-Tapestry needle

Gauge
17 sts and 22 rounds to 10cm / 4in over stockinette stitch.
22 sts and 21 rounds to 10cm / 4in over pattern stitch.
Measurements without stretching and after washing, using 5.omm needles.
