The Knitted Elspeth Doll (c) is an original design by Noreen Crone-Findlay. Elspeth is a charming doll that has a fairisle sweater, worked from a chart.
The finished size of the doll is determined by the size of knitting needles and thickness of yarn that you choose. The doll in the photos is about 10 inches (25 cm) tall. She was knitted with 2.25 mm needles and embroidery floss, weaving cotton and perle cotton. If you knit her with thicker yarn and larger needles, you’ll have a larger doll.
