Construction:
It is started at the tip of the shawl, then increased on every right side row until the full width before decreasing your way back to the other tip.
The size can easily be modified by adding more pattern repeats for a larger/smaller shawl/wrap.
It is quite easy to memorize and produces a wonderful squishy texture. Might be great for a rectangle (as been done by one of my fantastic test-knitter).
The wave motif is a gorgeously bold graphic which falls so beautifully on the body.
Note: the lace pattern is both charted and written Line-by-line instructions included.

Recommended Yarn:
Malabrigo, Chunky (100% Merino; 82m/ 90yds per 100g skein); Sample uses colour 9.
Yardage: 8 skeins.
Dimensions: 80” 203 cm wingspan and 27” 68,5 cm deep at centre
Notions: Stitch markers, Tapestry needle.
Needles: One 24” 60 cm circular needle (circ) size US 9 5.5 mm Or size to obtain gauge.
Even if this shawl is knit flat, Circ needles are used, to accommodate the large number of stitches needed, that would be impossible to fit onto straight needles.
Gauge in pattern: (after wet blocking)
19 sts and 24 rows = 4” 10 cm in charted pattern.
