The days are getting longer again. Well, they are in mine part of this world. A fine time to start something new. The name for this shawl, Engelier is based on a title of a story from Stephen King. It is the Dutch translation of The Langoliers, but made singular. The Langoliers is a story in the book Four Past Midnight. The story as well as the name (in Dutch) were stored away in my brain. A magnificent, mysterious story and a magnificent, mysterious word. The interflow of this word and the pattern became this Engelier Shawl and it sure does honor its name.
No pattern can be published without testers. No pattern can be published in different languages without translators. Again I found people who loved helping me to make this possible.
