Etchings cowl features a striking embossed leaf design on a garter stitch background. Knit flat in one piece and grafted, with tidy i-cord edges and a simple asymmetrical design, Etchings will be your new favourite accessory for yourself or for gift giving.

The pattern is provided as a chart and written directions, so you can choose to knit from whichever you prefer. It has been tech edited and was enjoyed by several lovely test knitters.

Gauge is not critical to the success of this project, but yardage requirements and the size of the project may vary with yarn substitutions or gauge changes.

If substituting yarn, look for a plump, plied DK or worsted weight yarn in a semi-solid or solid colourway for best results. Other textures and colours will be lovely as well, but the “Etchings” will be more subtle.

Happy Knitting!
