Eventyrhuen strikkes med dobbeltgarn nedefra og op. Ribkanten består af en anderledes snoet rib, der strikkes ved hjælp af en ekstra snoningspind. Det første stykke strikkes med en lille rundpind (40cm). Huen formes med indtagninger i toppen, her skiftes til strømpepinde når det bliver nødvendigt. Eller alternativt kan teknikken Magic Loop anvendes i stedet.
Huen kan strikkes i ren merino, eller i ’mohair edition’. – opskriften indeholder beskrivelse af begge modeller.

’Fairy tale beanie’ is made with double yarn from button and up. The rib edge is a differently twisted rib made of small cables. The first piece of the pattern is knitted with a small circular needle (40cm). The hat is shaped with decreases in the top of the hat. – change to double pointed needles when needed. Or alternatively the technique ‘ Magic Loop’ can be used. The beanie can be made in merino only, or in ‘mohair edition’ – this pattern includes description of both models.
