It uses basic stitches, a basic knowledge of crochet is assumed.

Please note however there is a lot of counting on most rows to get the shape correct. I want my toys to be as accurate as I can manage so most rows are unique.

Gauge is not important. I crochet to a normal tension & mine came out at 20” tall approx. but adjusting the hook size further will adjust the size.

Materials used :-
2.5mm, 3mm & 4mm hooks
Purple & Black– 150g DK
Green – 50g
Small Amounts-
Red, White, yellow & lilac
Fibrefill
Plastic canvas 7 count or a small amount of plastic toy packing to stiffen the collar.

This is a full pattern with no charts & 36 photos & 24 pages & the file is just under 10mb.
