This year I wanted to design something that was different but not too complicated. Our custom color, West Michigan Blooms, evokes spring in every way. Snow piles splashed with mud still linger here and there, but bits of color are starting to appear. The color combinations for each of the West Michigan Yarn Quest stores represent different stages of spring; from neutrals for the rainy days to brights for the flowers that bloom…and everything in between. Each twist, or exit ramp, takes the knitter on a different journey throughout the piece, just as we all have our individual paths to complete the quest.
