Exposed Vest
This garment is seamless. It is worked in two pieces that are then assembled together with crochet hook and needles. You first work the C2C (corner to corner) square, then pick up the stitches from the two topsides and knit the second square. Join in the round and knit the garter border. This vest can be worn any side you wish, both inside out and front to back.
I am so happy to be part of the #titsoutcollective with my pattern “Exposed”, together with 250+ #yarndyers and #designers. The pattern will go live on July 1st. Here is a #sneakpeek, the pattern will be available on Ravelry (see link in bio), and 20% of the price will go to @amal4education, a charity helping children and women overcome war trauma.
If you want to know the whole story behind the #ifiwantexposureillgetmytitsout movement head to @countessablaze account on Instagram.
Materials:
Yarn: any light fingering or sock yarn will do. I used Schachenmayr Tahiti nr. 07623 hibiskus (but please choose one of the gorgeous yarns from the indie dyers from the titsoutcollective).
Suggested needles: 3,5 mm (or needles to obtain gauge).
Suggested hook: 3 mm (or hook to obtain gauge).
1 marker
2 buttons (optional)
Gauge: 4 boxes x 4 boxes in C2C; 20 sts x 24 rows in elongated stitch.
Sizes: S (M, L). Finished bust measurements: 85 (96, 105) cm; 33,5 (38, 41) in.
Notes: There are many tutorials on C2C crochet that use double stitches as the base stitch. This top is worked with a treble stitch, but the concept is the same. You start with “increase rows” and, once you reached the desired width, you start “decreasing”.
N.B. Please note that US Crochet Terminology is used for this pattern.
