The story behind the creation of this product:
Life has had it’s challenges lately for our family, vision loss for myself, Autism diagnosis for my youngest and my husband’s repeated lung collapse and hospitalization. I found myself praying constantly and learning to accept God’s Will. It takes great Faith to overcome emotional and physical hardship. I found myself needing to draw, so I made the drawing in one of the photos listed here, and designed Faith as a lovey. I came across the following scripture when I drew the drawing that helped me through my emotional hardship.

“Your secret yearnings and tearful pleadings will touch the heart of both the Father and the Son.” - Boyd K Packer.

Meet “Faith” my newest design! This design was inspired by a drawing I made. This would be a great Baby Shower gift, Baptism gift or for any child’s cuddling lovey! This pattern was inspired by my recent drawing you see above. This is definitely a personal design that I’m sharing with you. :)

All purchases of this pattern is going to be used towards a Family Vacation that we are taking. If you haven’t followed my story, I’ll fill you in. When I was 14 years old, I was diagnosed with a rare, genetic disease that causes my vision to deteriorate causing tunnel vision, then eventually going completely blind. I knew this would happen, and at that time I was told I would see my kids graduate college. A few months ago, at a follow up appointment for my cataract surgery, I was told that on top of the degenerating disease I have, the Macula is degenerating as well. So, not only am I losing my sight from outside closing in, it’s now going from inside out causing it to go faster. The specialist believes it is 1-2 years before I lose my vision completely. As you can imagine, I’m in a panic, not from going blind, but going sooner than I expected. I expected that I would SEE my kids do all the important things that mother’s want to see. My kids are 5, 7 and 17.

With our finances only depending on my disability, its very frugal living, which I’m fine with, but it prevents us from doing any activities that costs money. For that, I depend on my pattern sales to treat our family for our standard “Eat Out” Date once a month and gas to visit family out of town. We have never taken a family vacation before so, it’s very important for me now to see my kids’ excitement in being in new places outside of our normal 2 hour radius.
Thank you so much for your help in helping me make memories while I can see!!!! It is greatly appreciated beyond what you can imagine.
