This pattern will show you how to make a colorful fall leaf garland. You can make this garland any size with as many or as few leaves as you’d like. Each leaf only uses a tiny amount of yarn (mine used about 3.5 yds each), so this is a great stashbuster; I made all of mine using scrap yarn in various fall colors.

I used worsted weight yarn and an H (5.0 mm) crochet hook, but gauge isn’t crucial and you can make the leaves in different sizes depending on what look you’re going for.

The leaf pattern also works as an appliqué, an adorable key chain, etc. Feel free to get creative with it! The pattern for the leaf includes written instructions, step-by-step photos, and a stitch chart so you can use whichever method is easiest for you to follow. The leaf is worked all in one piece, so there’s no sewing required.
