These accessories are simply constructed in a rustic wool and then embellished with fur accents … the wooly kind, of course! Slip stitch rows create the faux “purl” ridges.

Both the hat and the mitts are worked sideways with the ribbing and shaping accomplished by alternating stitch heights … seaming and edging are integral, so only two ends to weave in at the end.

Custom sizing is easily accomplished by simply adding or subtracting a row set or two.

The pom pom and ties for the mitts are felted and then brushed to create a soft fur.

You’ll use less than the full skein of Manos del Uruguay Clasica for each project … with yarn left over!
