The Feathered Rain Sweater is an over-sized lace ensemble featuring boat neck and balloon sleeves and is a perfect piece for a casual elegant setting.

This sweater was made in a custom colorway specially hand-dyed for the Bloom Collection by Adiaha of Ancestral Fiber Co. It is a soft and luscious Merino Wool DK weight yarn that is perfect for cool transitioning seasons. You most certainly want to pair these two together for a statement piece.

This pattern is written in standard US terms for CYC size XS and (S, M, L, XL) (2X, 3X, 4X, 5X) in parentheses, with finished bust sizes 38 (42, 46, 50, 54) (58, 62, 66, 70)” / 96.5 (107, 117, 127, 137) (147, 157, 168, 178)cm. Sweater is designed to be worn with up to 8-10”/20-25cm of positive ease. Feathered Rain is constructed in four separate pieces and then seamed together. Each body panel is worked from the bottom up as opposed to the sleeves, which are worked from shoulder to cuff. The larger hook is used for the lace portion of the sweater and the smaller hook is used for the Ribbing section only. Measurements given are from a blocked swatch, so it is extremely important to block your swatch as well before beginning. Tension and yarn choice may yield different results.
