Feathery Hat and Mitts
The yarn is held doubled for both projects in this pattern.
The yarn used for this set is called Pluma, which means feather. It is feathery soft, lightweight and incredibly warm - a fine choice for those sensitive to animal fiber, since it is a cotton/poly blend.
Top off the easy to knit hat with a cute pompom.
This one is removeable with a snap. You’ll love that!
The generous yardage was enough to make this relaxed hat plus fingerless mitts. Both projects can be knit with size 10, 16” circular needles. Have fun!
A big thank you to Barbara for modeling!

Materials
2 skeins of Concept by Katia Yarns, Pluma, OR other chunky weight yarn. Each skein is 164 yards. Total yardage needed is 328. The yarn is held doubled for both projects. One skein of #070 white and one skein of #074 blue. 85% Cotton/15% Poly.
Size 10 circular knitting needles, 16” length.

Yarn needle.
Pompom.
Gauge measures 3 stitches per inch and 5 rounds per inch in stockinette stitch. The hat is a women’s medium size, approximately 9” tall and 20” in circumference that stretches to 22”. It is stretchy and a bit slouchy.
Have fun!
