These fun little coasters are a super quick knit for a wee Christmas or Hanukkah gift. In red and green the motif is an abstract Christmas tree, and in shades of blue and white it represents a menorah. The coasters are knit with the mosaic knitting technique which uses only one color of yarn per row, with slipped stitches creating a pattern. The resulting back side of the coasters looks very neat and tidy, with no long floats. The red and green coasters are knit using an aran weight yarn and a sock weight yarn doubled. The blue coasters use two dk weight yarns. Weighing your yarn before starting is always recommended when you have limited amounts of yarn.

Pattern includes written and charted instructions which are meant to be used in conjunction with one another. The color changes are charted only.
