Festival top
This is the Festival Top knitting pattern, suitable for advanced beginner knitters. The top is form fitting and can be made in a single colour, or by holding different yarns together. The top is knit top down, starting with the Judy’s magic cast on technique. After making the yoke, it is knit in the round in a 4x4 rib stitch. The top is available in sizes XS through 5XL. The instructions are written per size, like so: XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL

Yarn choices
You can choose to either:
- Hold together 3 yarns of a 4-ply cotton like this one. In this case, you will need 4 (4) 5 (5) 6 (6) 7 (7) 8 skeins of 50 grams.
- Hold together 1 yarn of a 4-ply weight with 1 yarn of an 8-ply weight like this one. In this case, you will need 3 (3) 3 (3) 4 (4) 5 (5) 6 balls of the 8-ply weight, and 2 (2) 2 (2) 3 (3) 4 (4) 5 skeins of the 4-ply weight. You do not need to use this exact yarn, you can also use leftovers in similar weights. Gauge
A 10x10cm swatch is 16 stitches by 23 rows in 4 by 4 rib stitch. This is measured when the swatch is washed in the washing machine. The piece should be measured laying flat, not stretched out.
