A cheerful rainbow to brighten things up! —Whether you’re a fan of rainbows or not, this blanket is a fun one to make. Pick your favourite 10 colours and let the fun begin. This pattern is easily adapted to make a fade, ombre, rainbow or whatever combination makes your heart sing. It’s put together in such a way that the first and last row match up creating the perfect balance. I hope you all have as much fun as I did playing with colour!

This pattern is worked up using a Starburst Hexie.

The pattern uses The Creative Knitter Rustic DK 100% SW Merino (231yds/100g) and is joined with WeCrochet Swish DK 100%SW Merino using a 4.5mm hook (size 7).
Pattern includes all colours used and the yarn quantities as well as exact positioning. I also include in the Pattern Notes section a few of my favourite alternative yarns to use for this project. My gift to you is taking the work out of colourwork!

The final blanket size was: Approximately 40”x65” inches.
