The SKEINO FLOATING GARDEN SHAWL is a 9 skein knitting kit. It contains two different yarn types, our Shimmer yarn (base yarn) and the Star yarn (for the forms).

The Floating Garden Shawl is knitted from the neck down in one piece. Increase lines divide front-back-back-front and they let the piece grow in width.

Short row forms are lined up as pearls on a string. The 6 different colors are chosen from the base color and being used to create this beautiful shawl.

The name Floating Garden relates to Madeira, a Portuguese island in the Atlantic Ocean. We have a very strong emotional connection to Madeira and the name Floating Gardens is just plain beautiful.

The shawl is knitted entirely in Garter Stitch. The design “cuts off” two tips from the increase lines to create a cuff with a button to wear the shawl like a poncho. All colorways are wonderful and you will find your favorite in no time.
