This scarf is knitted in a combination of seed stitch and two colour brioche. You alternately knit two rows on the right side of your work, and two rows on the wrong side of your work alternately using yarns A (silk-merino or merino) and B (mohair). I have used mig own hand dyed yarn, wich unfortunately is not for sale out side of Denmark.

Alternative yarn suggestions
There is so much lovely hand dyed yarn out there. Check out some of the indie dyers or go for something conventional.

For yarn A: You can use any yarn - preferably hand dyed - containing silk, a blend of silk and merino or a similar yarn with a weight/length of approx. 400 m per 100 g. My yarn is 50/50 silk and merino.

Pick a colourful yarn where the colours don’t stand out too much, but blend into each other.

I recommend LITLG, Silk Merino Sock, but you will find good alternatives with any of these:

QING YAK SINGLES
Handdyed.dk “Den Skinnende 65” (silk)
Malabrigo Yarn Silkpaca
CamijoKnit - Glitter Single
A Knitters World Yak Silke
Artemis Yarns High Twist

For yarn B: You need approx. 50 grams of any kid silk, a blend of silk and mohair or a similar light yarn with a weight/length of approx. 210 - 240 meters per 25 grams.

Pick a solid colour that dosn’t dominate yarn A.

I recommend Filcolana Tilia or Isager Silk Mohair.
