Florarium light is a long awaited version of original aran weight Florarium Sweater but for fingering weight yarns. It is a modern round yoke pullover with slightly A-line shaped body and long sleeves, featuring a floral stranded colour work pattern with floats of contrasting colour on the right side on the yoke, hem and cuffs. The pullover is worked bottom up in the round.

Sizes
The pattern is written or nine sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9) to fit 74 (84, 94, 104, 114) (124, 134, 144, 154) cm / 29 (33, 37, 41, 45) (49, 53, 57, 61) in bust circumference with ca. 8-13 cm /3-5 in of positive ease. For the finished garment measurements, please refer to the graph. The sample is shown in size 2 on a 160 cm/5.3 feet tall model with 84-66-94 cm body measurements.

Main colour: ca. 150 (170, 215, 260, 305) (350, 395, 435, 480) g of Darnie from Studio Donegal, 100% merino wool, 4 ply with 410 m (448 yds) in 100 g, shown in shade 8812 Oatmeal; with an estimated yardage of ca. 613 m//671 yds (704//770, 884//967, 1064//1164, 1245//1362) (1425//1559, 1606//1756, 1786//1954, 1966//2151).

Contrasting colour: ca. ca. 54 (62, 77, 93, 109) (125, 141, 156, 172) g of Soft Merino Tweed from Kilcarra Donegal Yarns, 100% merino wool, 4 ply with 410 m (448 yds) in 100 g, shown in shade 5585 Autumn Leaf; with an estimated yardage of ca. 162 m//178 yds (253//276, 433//474, 613//671, 794//868) (974//1066, 1155//1263, 1335//1460, 1515//1658).

Needles and notion
A pair of 3.5 mm (US 4) circular needles with 40 & 80 — 100 cm (16 & 32 — 40 in) long cables or a pair of interchangeable needles with spare cables; at least 4 stitch markers; scraps of any other yarn; ca. 2.5 mm (B or C) crochet hook; row counter (optional), tapestry needle (optional).

Gauge
20 sts & 30 rows in 10 cm (4 in) measured over stockinette stitch in the round after blocking on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles. Same or 1-2 sts smaller gauge for the colour work is required. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
