This pattern is a replacement for my “Red Lace Stole”. Directions for the red lace stole remain, but in addition, there are now directions for a sport weight version of the stole.

The red lace stole is knit with 2 strands of Crystal Palace lace weight yarn, which equal to fingering weight yarn. The pink stole is knit with Cascade Longwood Sport. The edging on the long sides of the stoles differ: The red lace has a 3 stitch garter edge. The pink lace is knit in stockinette stitch and stitches are picked up and knit in garter to form a 2 garter ridge edge.

The lace design is represented by graphs. These include an initial section, a middle section that is repeated multiple times and a final section. Three mistakes on the earlier graph have been corrected.
