There’ll be smiling faces all round when kids hit the playground with this fluffy rabbit themed rucksack. This easy to knit rucksack is knitted in a faux fur yarn to make a fluffy bag, with bunny ears and tail. This rucksack is designed for a child to wear; if making for an adult you will need 4 to 5 metres of cord to make a longer strap.

Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the bag is knitted in polyester super chunky/super bulky yarns on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair of 10mm single pointed knitting needles (US 15)

RECOMMENDED YARN
King Cole Tufty; Super Chunky/Super Bulky weight; 100% polyester; one 200g skein in each shade.

NOTIONS
Tapestry needle for seaming and 3 metres of 5mm twisted cord for the strap.

SIZES
One size only - The bag is 29cm wide x 31cm tall (excluding ears).

TECHNIQUES
For beginners and above, other techniques used include knit, purl, a k2tog decrease and seaming to finish.
