Knit a friendly frog with a handsome pullover and cap!

The pattern is intermediate level, and all pieces are knit flat. You will need to know how to work stockinette and ribbing, increase (m1L and m1R), decrease (k2tog, ssk, p2tog, s2kp), work short rows, cast on stitches within a row, pick up stitches, work a picot bind-off, and sew seams.

Toy Materials: 50 g of worsted weight yarn, pair of 4 mm (US size 6) knitting needles, stuffing, pair of 12 mm black safety eyes (or buttons), black yarn to embroider face, tapestry needle.
Gauge: 5.5 sts and 7 rows per 2.5 cm (1”) in stockinette
Size: 23 cm (9”) tall

Garment and Accessory Materials: 20 g of fingering/sport weight yarn for the garment, 7 g of fingering weight yarn for the accessory, pair of 3.25 mm (US sizes 3) knitting needles, 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle
Garment Gauge: 6–6.5 sts and 8.5–9 rows per 2.5 cm (1”) in k1, p1 ribbing (slightly stretched)
Accessory Gauge: 6.5 sts and 9 rows per 2.5 cm (1”) in stockinette
Garment Size: 10-11 cm (4–4⅜“) long, 20-21 cm (8–8⅜”) around at waist
Accessory Size: 20 cm (8”) around at brim
