An absolutely fabulous stitch pattern surrounds the new
Foliage cowl which is just such an awesome knit, it really keeps you happily engaged. Knitted in the round showing off a beautifully textured leaf pattern knitted with a single Allero skein with great stitch definition and it also feels really, really good.

The pattern is fully written, has a how to video link and also offers a chart for your knitting pleasure.

The height of the cowl unblocked measures 8” in height and 23” in diameter.

A single skein of Allero, a light worsted weight in a 50/50 acrylic/cotton yarn with 154 yards/50 grams per skein.

Notions needed
US size 4 (3.5 mm) circular needle 20” (51 cm) in length
5 stitch markers
Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing

Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch.

Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round, lace knitting, decreasing, increasing, ribbing, binding off, weaving ends. I left my cowl unblocked so the textures show through a bit more.
