⭐️Follow Your Stars ⭐️

This pattern celebrates the knitted star, traditional yet still fresh and ageless.

Follow Your Stars, is the continuation of the pattern that I developed and later made in to the much loved Colour Your Stars

In the beginning, I saw these two star pattern styles as a pair - as mittens for couples in love, for siblings, for best friends, for neighbours talking over the hedge, for colleagues or even arch-rivals - simply all kinds of togethers, or just to have both pairs for oneself?!

I now know that each can be good on their own.
Just so. By themselves or together.
We choose. All is well.

There are complete and separate charts for the left and right hand.

Gauge is key to get your desired size.
Every knitter’s tension is personal, so I have included suggestions, apart from gauge to what you can do to shape your mittens once you are done with the knitting.

Measurements:
Full length 23 cm
Length from thumb to top 13.5 cm
Across the palm 10.5 cm
Across the thumb 4.5 cm

Suggested yarn:
Rauma Finull PT2 from Rauma Garn 350 m/ 100 g

Yardage:
Two colours are used: MC - main colour and CC - complementary colour.
30 g or just over 100 meters of each colour is used.

Suggested needles:
2.75 mm or needles that give you desired gauge.
2.5 mm for i-cordedges.

Gauge:
30 sts - 34 rows make 10 x 10 cm on needles 2.75 mm.

• For a smaller mitten, you may knit at a tighter gauge using smaller needles.
For a larger mitten, you may knit at a larger gauge using bigger needles.•
